Shuetsu Co., Ltd. has been a member of the Toyo Suisan Kaisha, Ltd. Group since 1983. As a group member, we contribute to the overall growth of the group by handling a portion of instant noodle production while continuing to preserve our traditional flavors.

Bottled Products (Ibaraki Plant)
Retail & Gift Sets
At the Ibaraki Plant, we uphold Shuetsu’s long-standing traditions through the manufacturing of bottled products and gift sets. Based on our inherited spirit of flavor creation and stringent quality control, we continue to pursue deliciousness suited to the modern era.
Shuetsu is recognized as the original creator of Fukujinzuke, which is made with seven traditional vegetables: daikon radish, eggplant, sword bean, lotus root, turnip, perilla, and cucumber. For the daikon, we use specially selected split-dried radish. Our signature deep soy-based brown color and rich flavor are achieved through a traditional “two-stage pickling process” and long-term, low-temperature aging.
Guided by our time-honored expertise and reliable quality management, we deliver this refined and premium taste to customers across the country.
Plastic Containers (Ibaraki Plant)
Retail, Ueno Main Store & Commercial Use
The Ibaraki Plant also manufactures products in plastic containers for retail, exclusive items for the Ueno Main Store, boxed gifts, and commercial-use products in plastic bags to meet various consumer needs.
From our original Fukujinzuke to Tsukudani, Rakkyo (pickled shallots), and Kuki-wakame (stem seaweed), our traditional flavors and consistent quality have been a staple at many dining tables for years. We uphold the prestige of a long-established brand and continue to promote Japanese food culture through sincere craftsmanship.
Chilled Foods & Instant Noodles (Boso Plant)
Maruchan Brand / Toyo Suisan Chilled Foods & Instant Noodles
The Boso Plant manufactures chilled foods and instant noodles for the well-known “Maruchan” brand of Toyo Suisan. Utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and thorough quality control, we pursue stable flavor and safety, delivering reliable taste to dining tables across the country. We maintain a flexible production system capable of handling a diverse product lineup and continue to focus on creating highly trusted products.
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toyo Suisan Kaisha, Ltd., our instant cup noodle production is dedicated exclusively to Group products. Therefore, we do not currently accept OEM production requests from external companies.
