Fukujinzuke Inari

Ingredients(Serves 1–2)

Original Fukujinzuke 30g
Rice 200g
Seasoned fried tofu pockets 4 sheets
Rice vinegar (or grain vinegar) 2 teaspoons
sugar 2 teaspoons
Shiso one sheet

How to Make

  1. Place the rice, rice vinegar, and sugar in a bowl and mix while cooling.
  2. Add 30g of Fukujinzuke and mix thoroughly (※Do not use the liquid from the Fukujinzuke).
  3. Divide the mixed rice into four equal portions and stuff them into the fried tofu pockets.
  4. If desired, mix in chopped shiso leaves or sprinkle them on top to finish.

Rice vinegar and sugar can be substituted with sushi vinegar (1 tablespoon).
